Senior Software Engineer, Test Infrastructure & Simulation
Skills
- Proficiency with programming languages such as Python, Rust, C++, Go
- Experience with CI/CD and build/deploy tooling (CircleCI, Docker, NixOS, Terraform)
- Strong developer-experience focus and tool-building for engineering teams
- Understanding of simulation, data management, compute infrastructure, and networking
- Familiarity with Linux environments and embedded/robotics test practices
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and release development and validation infrastructure including Software-in-the-Loop (SITL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HITL) systems
- Integrate automated testing best practices into the software development lifecycle across cross-functional teams
- Develop developer-facing tools in Python to facilitate development, testing, and releases
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines and modern build/deployment tooling
- Collaborate with engineers across the stack from low-level Linux drivers to autonomy and UI teams
- Ensure testing infrastructure is robust, scalable, and supports rapid iteration for product needs
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience
- Relevant coursework or hands-on experience in systems, networking, or embedded software preferred
