Skills
- Deep experience in US patent prosecution and IP portfolio management
- Strong contract negotiation and drafting skills, including IP assignments and licenses
- Knowledge of trademark, copyright, trade secrets, and US government data rights
- Ability to manage outside counsel and multi-disciplinary projects end-to-end
- Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and apply Anduril's IP portfolio in alignment with business and compliance objectives
- Counsel business, engineering, and go-to-market teams on patent strategy, patent prosecution, and invention capture
- Negotiate and draft IP-related agreements including license, assignment, and services contracts
- Manage outside counsel on patent prosecution, litigation, and IP enforcement matters
- Advise on US government contract data rights, export-control issues, and interactions with government customers
- Support cross-functional legal matters including bid protests, litigation, compliance, and employment as needed
- Build, mentor, and scale an IP team of attorneys and support staff
Education
- JD from an accredited law school
- Admission to practice law in the United States
- Registered and in good standing with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (Patent Bar)
