Senior Software Engineer, Device Infrastructure
Skills
- Proficiency in multiple languages (Python, Rust, C++, Go).
- Experience integrating with CI/CD and container tooling (CircleCI, Docker, NixOS).
- Strong Linux and embedded/device familiarity.
- Experience delivering software directly to customers and end users.
- Understanding of networking and distributed systems (UDP, TCP, gRPC, REST).
- Ability to test on hardware and participate in flight test activities.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain U.S. Secret security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, and release manufacturing and deployment tools for TRS products.
- Define foundational software architectures, configuration processes, and UX workflows with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Develop solutions in Python, Rust, C++, and/or Go that integrate with lifecycle tools like NixOS, CircleCI, and Docker.
- Interface with engineers across the stack from Linux drivers to autonomy and user interfaces.
- Validate software across simulations, benchtop hardware, and live flight testing environments.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant coursework or hands-on experience with embedded systems, networking, or cloud infrastructure preferred.
