Senior Mission Software Engineer, Warfighter Systems (Active Clearance)
Skills
- Active U.S. Secret clearance and ability to maintain it
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience across languages such as C++, Python, Java, Rust, Go, or JavaScript
- Experience navigating complex codebases and systems-level integration
- Familiarity with networking, autonomy, robotics, sensor fusion, or computer vision
- Customer-facing communication and demo/presentation experience
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% (domestic and international)
Responsibilities
- Own and deliver software solutions directly to customers, including field deployments and demos
- Present and demo software internally and externally; translate customer needs into engineering requirements
- Design, write, and extend code to meet customer and system requirements
- Integrate mixed reality sensors, displays, and spatial mapping capabilities with AR/VR specialists
- Triage issues, perform root-cause analysis, coordinate fixes and next steps
- Collaborate across teams (autonomy, networking, robotics, product) to plan, build, and test complex features
- Travel domestically and internationally (up to 50%) to build, test, present, and deploy capabilities
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
- Graduate degree preferred but not required
