Responsibilities
- Own design, implementation, testing, and sustainment of software deployed to customers, balancing end-user needs and constraints
- Design and implement scalable software for on- and off-robot platforms with an eye toward reusable components across product lines
- Drive development processes including full lifecycle testing, monitoring, simulation, and hardware-in-the-loop fixtures
- Troubleshoot and analyze remotely deployed systems and support vehicle manufacturing and field deployment
- Act as technical owner for services, coordinating stakeholders, defining requirements, and managing roadmaps
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to multi-disciplinary engineering teams
- Travel to co-locate with users or teams up to ~20% of the time
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field, or equivalent experience
