Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate mechanical hardware on unmanned air vehicles
- Own designs from concept generation through integration, test, and production
- Apply first-principles physics to inform design decisions
- Lead design reviews, run engineering analyses, and define/execute hardware test plans
- Build and validate prototypes, perform failure analysis, and iterate designs
- Visit vendors and evaluate manufacturing and supplier performance
- Support customer demonstrations and travel to test sites as required
Education
- BS or higher in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
