Senior Frontend Software Engineer

This role offers the opportunity to shape and develop high-availability applications that support the extraction, enrichment, and structuring of critical clinical data. You will collaborate with engineering, product, and architecture teams to deliver scalable, reliable frontend solutions while mentoring and guiding other engineers. The position involves designing and implementing complex web applications, translating UI/UX designs into production-ready code, and leveraging modern frontend frameworks. You will also explore AI technologies, apply best practices in CI/CD, and contribute to the technical evolution of the platform. This role is ideal for a proactive engineer passionate about solving complex problems and enhancing healthcare solutions at scale.

Accountabilities:

• Lead frontend architecture, development, and maintenance of complex, scalable web applications with a focus on performance and reliability.
• Translate UI/UX wireframes into high-quality, testable code and ensure adherence to design and technical standards.
• Implement robust testing strategies, including unit tests, component tests, and end-to-end tests.
• Mentor engineers, guide team growth, and champion best practices in coding, testing, and design patterns.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, architecture, and backend developers, to ensure technical solutions meet business objectives.
• Explore and integrate AI technologies to enhance product functionality, operational efficiency, and user experience.
• Identify and address technical debt, performance issues, and reliability improvements across the platform.

• BA/BS in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience, with 5+ years of progressive frontend engineering experience.
• Proven experience leading frontend development, with expertise in Angular (16+), TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS/SCSS, and state management patterns/libraries.
• Experience with Angular Module Federation/micro frontends and frontend testing frameworks such as Cypress and NgRx.
• Familiarity with backend/API development (C#, .NET, Python, Golang) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of engineering best practices, including code reviews, design patterns, source control, and CI/CD.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, able to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
• Preferred: experience in healthcare or health IT, cloud infrastructure knowledge (AWS, Azure), and exposure to DevOps tools (Terraform, Octopus Deploy, Azure DevOps).

• Competitive base salary: $110,000 - $150,000 per year, with potential bonuses and equity.
