Skills
- Experience with metrology inspection tools and calibrated equipment (CMM, Faro, calipers, micrometers)
- Proficiency reading and interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T
- Familiarity with CAD and inspection/data management software
- Experience with AS9100/ISO9001/IATF 16949 or similar QMS
- Ability to analyze inspection data and communicate findings to cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
- Manage site Materials Review Board (MRB) process and disposition non-conforming parts
- Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished parts; perform Verification First Article Inspections (FAI)
- Support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate vendor RMAs and supplier FAI acceptance
- Create and train on inspection plans and capture inspection data
- Manage calibration recalls, database, and third-party calibration logistics
- Perform internal audits and deep-dive traceability and data investigations
- Propose and support continuous improvement projects for quality and productivity
Education
- Associate degree in related technical field or equivalent experience (required)
- Technical or Associate degree in quality/mechanical/aerospace engineering (preferred)
- ASQ or IPC certifications (preferred)
