- Hands-on production test ownership and troubleshooting
- Experience with data acquisition, processing, and scripting (MATLAB, Python)
- Test automation and report generation experience
- Root cause analysis for hardware, firmware, and software issues
- Experience integrating electrical, opto-mechanical, and firmware/software systems
- Familiarity with common lab/test equipment and communication protocols
Responsibilities
- Own and execute production test flow and activities, including system-level checkout and component validation
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrared/opto-mechanical and electronic system issues during testing
- Create clear MES test work instructions and train technicians on equipment and procedures
- Develop and maintain a failure-mode library with troubleshooting guides and diagrams
- Develop and maintain software for test automation, data analytics, and automated report generation
- Perform root cause investigations and recommend corrective actions (RCCA); support returns and failure analysis
- Collaborate with Design, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering on NPI and product improvements
- Optimize test strategies to reduce cycle time while preserving quality and maintain/calibrate test equipment
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
