Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar technical field
- Experience in engineering, manufacturing, or quality within aerospace, defense, or related complex systems
- Knowledge of PCBA, harnessing, avionics, systems integration, composites, propulsion, and lethality systems
- Experience with product development and test requirement flow-down and measurement system development
- Familiarity with FMEA, APQP, PPAP elements (MSA), and GD&T
- Experience with mechanical and electrical manufacturing processes and workmanship standards (IPC)
- Experience conducting RCCA/MRB, audits, and readiness reviews
- Data analysis and statistical tooling experience (MatLab, JMP, Minitab or similar)
- Working knowledge of missile/munitions storage and maintenance processes
- Must be a U.S. Person for access to export-controlled information/facilities
Responsibilities
- Drive quality processes across product development stages including design reviews, process development, testing, and qualification of propulsion and Launched Effects products.
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure manufacturability, reliability, and compliance with customer and system requirements.
- Create and maintain quality plans using product maturity frameworks and coordinate with partner organizations to meet program schedules and performance targets.
- Lead Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) and Material Review Board (MRB) activities; investigate failures, anomalies, and non-conformities and validate effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Implement and support Quality Management System (QMS) elements on programs, including documentation, audits, readiness reviews, and training.
- Develop and deliver quality metrics, reporting, and lessons learned to stakeholders and program leadership.
- Prepare for and lead customer onsite audits and reviews for contract deliverables related to quality and compliance.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or comparable technical discipline required
- Relevant industry training or certifications in quality systems, FMEA, GD&T, or statistical tools preferred
