Skills
- Component-based React development (TypeScript/JavaScript ES6+)
- Familiarity with Node.js and Express for debugging API integration
- Experience with build tools (Vite, nx)
- Frontend component design and modular architectures
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Ability to support deployed systems and travel (~10%)
- Eligible to obtain and maintain U.S. Secret security clearance
Responsibilities
- Design and develop new workflows and user interfaces for optical and infrared sensor systems.
- Implement modular, reusable front-end components sharing a common design language across devices.
- Debug API integration issues and work with backend engineers to resolve problems.
- Triage field-reported bugs, identify root causes, and coordinate resolution.
- Own software system success for assets deployed to customers and events, including on-site support and ~10% travel.
- Collaborate with engineers, stakeholders, and customers to gather requirements and iterate on UI/UX.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
