Maximo Solution Architect - Architect Senior

This role offers a strategic opportunity to design and implement end-to-end Maximo-based solutions that optimize asset management, work management, and operational processes. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and system integrators to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical architectures. The position emphasizes solution design, integration, and governance across workflows, automation, and cloud-native technologies. You will influence platform direction, support technology investments, and guide teams in delivering secure, high-performing applications. This is a hands-on, high-impact role ideal for candidates who excel at bridging business and technical needs in enterprise environments.

Accountabilities

• Develop and maintain technology and architecture standards, policies, and guidelines for Maximo platforms.
• Review business requirements and create high-level end-to-end solution designs emphasizing scalability, supportability, and security.
• Advise leadership on technology, business, and operational implications of Maximo platform investments.
• Build collaborative relationships across teams, system integrators, and leadership to achieve complex objectives.
• Participate in application delivery, supporting developers and project teams on low to medium scale assignments.
• Gather and analyze user requirements, generate conceptual designs, and develop implementation strategies.
• Provide guidance on Maximo workflows, integration frameworks, and automation solutions.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience:
• Architect: Minimum 3 years relevant work experience.
• Architect Senior: Minimum 6 years relevant work experience.
• Strong knowledge of business processes in Work Management, Asset Management, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Fleet operations.
• Proficiency in Maximo configuration, workflows, automation scripts, and Maximo Integration Framework (MIF).
• Experience with web service technologies (REST/JSON/XML, SOAP), Maximo Spatial, start/work centers, security, escalations, cron jobs, BIRT, and QBR.
• Familiarity with Maximo 7.6.x, IBM WebSphere Application Server, code repositories, automated testing, performance toolsets, and SSO/authentication mechanisms.
• Knowledge of OpenShift, Kubernetes, React JS, and React Native.
• Strong collaboration skills to evaluate alternative solutions and business workarounds.
• Maximo certifications are a plus but not required.
