We are seeking an experienced Staff Software Development Engineer to drive the design, development, and implementation of high-performance, scalable software solutions for complex financial systems. This role focuses on Front Office architecture, requiring deep expertise in cloud technologies, distributed systems, and real-time, event-driven platforms. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, influence technical strategy, and contribute to operational excellence while solving challenging problems at scale. Accountabilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions in a distributed architecture environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering strategies with business objectives and customer needs.
• Implement real-time and asynchronous systems with an emphasis on event-driven architecture.
• Ensure operational excellence by following best practices in software engineering, testing, and deployment.
• Present technical concepts, project updates, and architecture decisions clearly to stakeholders.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers to foster knowledge sharing and technical growth.

• 15+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, including architecture and coding in Front Office/FinTech environments.
• Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and distributed systems.
• Strong experience with real-time systems, event-driven architecture, and engineering best practices at scale.
• Proficiency in Java and Python; familiarity with messaging systems such as JMS, Kafka, or MQ.
• Knowledge of financial protocols (FIX, SWIFT) is highly desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex technical concepts.
• Experience working in both FinTech and BigTech environments is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI/GenAI technologies and applications in financial services is advantageous.
