Embedded NixOS Engineer
Skills
- Hardware debugging on custom platforms
- Enterprise build and deployment systems (CI/CD, artifact pipelines)
- Image building infrastructure for embedded Linux systems
- Familiarity with Nix/NixOS and reproducible build tooling (preferred)
- Experience with AArch64 embedded product bringup and kernel/driver development (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Bring up NixOS on custom embedded hardware platforms in collaboration with electrical and FPGA engineers
- Design, implement, and operate image-building and deployment infrastructure for embedded Linux targets
- Develop and maintain enterprise-grade build, CI/CD, and software supply chain tooling
- Drive roadmaps for build, deployment, and CI/CD to streamline delivery of capabilities to customers
- Debug hardware/software interactions and support downstream environments and release processes
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent experience
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in a relevant field preferred but not required
