Skills
- Proven leadership of DSP engineers in communications and/or electronic warfare programs
- Experience implementing DSP on embedded devices and software-defined radios
- Proficiency in Python and MATLAB for algorithm development and analysis
- Familiarity with CUDA or other GPU-accelerated frameworks (preferred)
- Hands-on experience with FPGAs, Nvidia Jetson, and SDR hardware
- Working knowledge of deep learning and ML frameworks (TensorFlow/PyTorch preferred)
- Understanding of wireless standards (Bluetooth, 3G/4G/5G, Wi‑Fi, SINCGARS, MUOS)
- Strong program and multi-project management skills
- Excellent collaboration and communication across cross-functional teams
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
Responsibilities
- Lead DSP engineers in the design and development of novel and established DSP algorithms for communications and EW applications.
- Direct and review DSP trade studies, algorithm optimization, and performance/complexity tradeoffs for FPGA and GPU deployment.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams to integrate DSP techniques into software-defined radios and embedded systems.
- Guide implementation of algorithms into firmware/software and oversee validation, integration, and test activities.
- Provide technical and programmatic leadership, interfacing with program management to meet cost, schedule, and performance goals.
- Mentor, grow, and recruit DSP talent; manage staffing and task allocation for larger programs as needed.
- Ensure compliance with security requirements and maintain active U.S. Secret clearance for program access.
- Coordinate limited travel for fielding, integration, and cross-site collaboration.
Education
- BSEE or related field required
- MSEE with DSP emphasis preferred
- Relevant coursework or training in signal processing, communications, and embedded systems
