Skills
- Detailed knowledge of SAP/SCI policies, DoD security instructions, and NISPOM-related requirements
- Practical experience with SIMS, DISS, JADE, and other personnel/security management systems
- Experience implementing security in manufacturing or secure facility environments
- Ability to interpret and apply security classification guidance and DD254 requirements
- Strong written and oral communication for interfacing with government and internal stakeholders
- Proven record of conducting inspections, investigations, and developing SOPs and PPPs
Responsibilities
- Manage program access requests, process visit certifications, and maintain access rosters for SAP/SCI programs
- Prepare for and support government inspections, conduct self-inspections, and manage Staff Assistance Visits/Customer Security Assessments
- Maintain personnel security records and process eligibility determinations using systems like SIMS, DISS, and JADE
- Administer classified mail, material accountability, marking, receipt/transmittal, and final disposition records
- Manage IDS/access control and classified space setup in collaboration with physical security and facilities teams
- Develop and maintain Program Protection Plans (PPPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and accreditation documentation
- Create and deliver security education and training (initial and recurring), briefings, debriefings, and insider threat coordination
- Investigate and document security violations/incidents and recommend corrective actions to program management and government authorities
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Information Systems, Mission Assurance, Insider Threat, and external government customers
Education
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent education and work experience
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and a current background investigation
