AlertMedia is dedicated to creating an environment where employees can bring their authentic selves to work. Regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, age, disability, gender identity, or sexual orientation, we are strengthened by a workforce that embodies diversity in all its forms.
We have a DEI team that consists of 14 members who focus on initiatives to implement to promote diversity, equity and inclusion. Some of our progress includes:
- Inclusive Parental Leave: all employees, regardless of gender or family type, are eligible for our paid parental leave program.
- Community Partnerships: Through financial donations and paid volunteer time, we support organizations that help underserved and underrepresented members of our community
- Benchmarking and Training: We routinely benchmark our progress toward a more inlcusive workplace, using the results to enhance our diversity and unconscious bias training programs.
- Employee Resource Groups: We launch our PrideAM ERG and Iamwomxn ERG in 2022 which are welcoming spaces with an emphasis on positive change. We will also be launching two NEW ERGs this year, a Black in Tech group, and a group for Veterans!
