Manager, Platform Usability & Enablement

As a Manager, Platform Usability & Enablement Manager supporting MARLO Sales & Sales Support Team, you will drive seamless user experiences, cross-functional alignment, and platform adoption of Alcon’s ECP and patient facing digital solutions, MARLO. This role acts as a critical connector between product, engineering, and business/commercial teams—ensuring that platform capabilities are intuitive, scalable, and aligned with user and organizational needs while overseeing the team that executes related business operations processes.

In this role, a typical day will include:

Platform & Product Enablement

  • Act as a consultant to Product & Engineering “pods,” providing clear, complete, and actionable requirements to Digital Health teams during feature development.
  • Proactively assess and communicate risks, trade-offs, and downstream impacts of platform decisions.
  • Take ownership of inquiries and requests, ensuring timely and accurate responses or guidance.
  • Provide input and feedback to strategy & planning teams to highlight platform stability and scalability needs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Drive and influence trust and effective ways of working across multiple enterprise functions.
  • Plan, communicate, and coordinate with cross-functional teams on the rollout of new features and capabilities.
  • Support onboarding and coordination for customers both large and small alike, ensuring a smooth and value-driven experience.
  • Participate in Voice of the Customer initiatives, taking ownership of insights and follow-ups where appropriate.

User Experience & Adoption

  • Champion platform usability by identifying friction points and advocating for user-centric improvements.
  • Develop and deliver enablement materials, including training, documentation, and support resources.
  • Monitor platform support requests and feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and increased adoption.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school+13 yrs; Assoc.+9 yrs; M.S.+2 yrs; PhD. +1 yrs)
  • 5 Years of Relevant Experience
  • 3 Years of Demonstrated Leadership
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
  • Location: On-site in Ft. Worth, TX

Preferred Skills:

  • 5+ Years of experience in platform enablement, product management, user experience, or a related role
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional initiatives and driving platform adoption
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with enterprise platforms (e.g., Salesforce, ServiceNow, JIRA, etc.) is a plus
