- Understanding of economic and accounting principles, financial markets, and financial reporting

- Experience with BI tools (e.g., Qlik, Power BI)
- Risk modeling expertise (credit and market risk) and macro trend assessment
- Data analytics, financial modeling, and model validation experience
- Experience with provisions, budgeting, and project management
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional communication
Responsibilities
- Define and operationalize backbook risk strategy and company risk appetite in partnership with cross-functional teams.
- Develop and maintain robust backbook risk forecasting that incorporates strategy changes, statistical analyses, and macroeconomic inputs.
- Design, implement, and evolve repayment and modification tool strategies and policies.
- Develop and maintain risk management frameworks and provisioning for international backbooks.
- Translate observed backbook performance and macro outlook into actionable improvements across Frontbook and Backbook risk, Provisions, and Product.
- Collaborate with ML, Product, Engineering, Finance, and Operations to validate models and integrate analytics into production workflows.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders and support decision-making with clear, data-driven narratives.
- Occasional travel (~10%) to unanticipated worksites domestically and internationally.
Education
- Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Management Studies, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience in risk analytics, financial modeling, or similar roles
