Senior Infrastructure Engineer, Cloud
Skills
- 5+ years in DevOps/infrastructure engineering with hands-on cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Strong IaC experience using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
- Proven experience with Docker and Kubernetes for orchestration and management.
- Solid networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, VLANs, subnetting, routing, firewall/security groups.
- Experience with CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI).
- Scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
- Familiarity with security automation and secure secrets management solutions.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar) to provision and manage cloud resources.
- Design, deploy, and operate container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes) and containerized applications.
- Architect and manage multi-cloud deployments for redundancy, cost optimization, and disaster recovery.
- Design and implement secure secrets management and credential rotation solutions.
- Build and maintain cloud networking, DNS, API gateway configuration, and network security controls.
- Automate CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling to reduce toil and improve developer experience.
- Continuously optimize infrastructure for cost, performance, reliability, and security.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and security teams and document architecture and operational procedures.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant cloud or DevOps certifications are a plus (CKA, AWS/Azure/GCP certifications).
