Job Description
Abramson Labor Group, a leading employment and labor law firm, is looking for a professional senior paralegal with a strong work ethic, exceptional organizational communication, and multitasking skills. Candidates should be highly motivated and adept at handling the complexities of litigation cases in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Filing and serving documents in state and federal courts
- Calendaring litigation deadlines
- Drafting various litigation pleadings
- Assisting in the discovery process (gathering evidence and organizing deposition transcripts), and summarizing the materials for the attorney to review
- Organizing case files
- Communicating with clients and court staff
- Tracking attorney hours
- Scheduling and coordinating depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and meetings
- Managing and analyzing large volumes of documents, including personnel files, HR policies, and payroll records
- Preparing Table of Contents and Table of Authorities for motions
Qualifications
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor's degree required; Paralegal certificate recommended
- 3+ years of relevant paralegal experience, specifically in employment litigation cases
- Strong research and writing skills
- Proficient in all Microsoft applications, including but not limited to Word, Outlook, Excel, and Teams
