The UW School of Medicine and Public Health (SMPH) is a leader in research and innovation, dedicated to improving patient outcomes through advanced data science and analytics. We are seeking an experienced Industry Liaison to contribute to our new Wisconsin Health Data Hub (WHDH) recently funded by the EDA as part of the TechHub (https://news.wisc.edu/federal-funds-awarded-for-biohealth-with-uw-madison-leading-the-way/) initiative and drive transformative data science projects to enhance healthcare and research at SMPH. Reporting to the Senior Director--Office of Biohealth Industry Partnerships and supporting the Wisconsin Health Data Hub Program (WHDH), the primary expectation of this role is to support and help build relationships between WHDH Program and private-sector companies in the life sciences, health, biotechnology, and biomedical research sectors. These comprehensive relationships will include, but are not limited to partnerships, sponsorship or funding opportunities and technology transfer. This role will be measured by engagement of new industry partners and alignment with key WHDH product and service offerings. In addition, this role will support key strategic initiatives, as needed: WHDH Product launch, presale demonstration, engaging possible industry partners and collaborators.

The starting salary for the position is $87,473; but is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
