The Institutional Analytics and Research (IAR) team supports and enables most university teams, departments, and colleges to make data-informed decisions that lead to better student outcomes. Our analysts, scientists, researchers, and managers are distributed across several teams: Institutional Research, Institutional Metrics & Insights, Outreach Analytics, Faculty Analytics, Curriculum Analytics, and Student Success Analytics.
About the Institutional Metrics & Insights (IMI) Team
The IMI team delivers executive-facing metrics that define how WGU measures impact, performance, and student outcomes. We partner with analytics teams and stakeholders across the university to create a single source of truth for metrics, turning raw data into powerful insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
The Role: Data Analyst
As a Data Analyst on the IMI team, you’ll extract, process, analyze, and report on data to produce actionable insights and research. You’ll collaborate with peers in Data Engineering, Product Management, Finance, EdTech, and Faculty, building relationships and delivering information that privileges data storytelling and compresses time-to-action.
