- Extensive hands-on experience in C/C++ development for embedded systems.
- Deep understanding of embedded OS, middleware, and hardware abstraction.
- Proven capability in system-level performance analysis, debugging, and optimization.
- Experience working with high-performance embedded compute platforms (NVIDIA, Qualcomm).
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve the embedded software architecture for next-generation autonomy platforms.
- Develop hands-on prototypes and reference implementations to validate architectural decisions.
- Analyze and optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability across the embedded stack.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with AI, platform, and vehicle systems teams and with external partners (NVIDIA, Qualcomm, OEMs).
- Drive adoption of modern development practices, tools, and standards for high-assurance embedded software.
- Mentor senior engineers and lead through technical influence, providing design reviews and joint implementation.
- Act as Wayve’s principal technical representative in partner and customer architecture discussions.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) preferred but not required.
