Backend Engineer - Integration
Skills
- 4+ years backend software development experience, preferably with IAM or security-focused products
- Proficiency in Golang and/or Java
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
- Strong understanding of authentication and authorization standards and best practices
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and familiarity with cloud IAM features
- Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL), caching, and distributed system patterns
- Knowledge of logging, monitoring, and auditing tools and practices
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs for the IAM platform ensuring performance and reliability
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and security experts to deliver product features that meet business and security requirements
- Develop and maintain Access Intelligence features to surface actionable insights from customer environments
- Implement identity lifecycle management features: provisioning, de-provisioning, and access control policies
- Build logging, monitoring, and auditing capabilities to ensure visibility and regulatory compliance
- Continuously optimize platform performance, security, and scalability through code reviews, testing, and refactoring
- Research and apply industry trends and emerging IAM technologies to improve the platform
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
