Responsibilities
- Serve customers in‑store to meet their eyewear needs, including frame selection guidance
- Take and record measurements (PD, vertex, seg height) and ensure accurate fit
- Adjust, fit, and fine-tune eyewear to meet optical and customer requirements
- Inspect finished lenses and frames for quality and compliance with prescriptions
- Explain prescription terminology, lens options, and product features to customers
- Collaborate with teammates to maintain high standards of sales and service
- Document customer interactions and maintain accurate records
- Represent the Warby Parker brand and promote its mission and values
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Dispensing optician license where applicable or ABO certification
- Formal optical training or on-the-job optical experience preferred
