Accounts Payable Specialist
Skills
- 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience
- Proficiency with GSuite and advanced Excel skills
- Experience with ERP and P2P systems (Oracle or Coupa a plus)
- Vendor master data management and validation
- General ledger familiarity and invoice-to-GL reconciliation
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Process-driven, analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally
Responsibilities
- Process PO-backed and non-PO invoices in the P2P and ERP systems
- Maintain records according to organizational policies and procedures
- Serve as primary contact for vendor master data inquiries and updates
- Validate new vendor requests and supporting documentation prior to ERP entry
- Support audit requests and provide required documentation
- Coordinate with Accounting to verify invoices are recorded correctly in the general ledger
- Help manage team workload to maintain low processing volumes
- Respond to vendor and internal stakeholder inquiries about invoices and payments
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Relevant accounting coursework or certifications helpful
