Senior Manager - CFO Services (Alternative Assets)

**Please note: This role will be a dedicated resource for one of our premiere clients.  The candidate is required to be onsite, 5 days a week, at the client’s Stamford, Connecticut office** 

What you’ll do

• You have extensive experience working with a wide range of financial instruments, including:
  • Equities, fixed income, bank debt, and repurchase agreements
  • Derivatives such as options, swaps, and futures
  • Foreign exchange, including spot and forward contracts
  • You specialize in Profit and Loss (PnL) calculation for these instruments
• You bring deep expertise in waterfall calculations for both American and European structures, including:
  • Complex management fee calculations
  • Performance allocations and incentive fee modeling
• You have a solid understanding of Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) structures, including:
  • Tax implications
  • Distribution mechanics
  • Regulatory considerations

• The salary for this position will be dependent on experience and location ($135,000-$160,000).

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field; CPA designation is preferred.
• You bring 8+ years of experience in the financial services industry, with strong expertise in fund accounting, financial reporting, and prior in-house experience.
• You have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, familiarity with Geneva reporting systems, and a solid understanding of hedge funds and private equity structures.
• You demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and excellent written and verbal communication skills for client relationship management.
• You work full-time in-office, showing professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality financial services.
