Vice President, Program Management

Voyager Technologies is a mission-driven defense, national security and space technology company building transformative, mission-critical solutions. The Vice President of Program Management will create and scale a unified program management framework across Voyager’s space and defense segments, driving governance, delivery, reporting cadence, and mentoring senior program leaders to ensure programs execute efficiently and align to strategic priorities.

Skills

  • Proven experience implementing program management frameworks and governance
  • Cross-functional leadership across engineering, operations and finance
  • Experience scaling program execution in fast-paced, mission-critical environments
  • Strong reporting, schedule and budget management skills
  • Risk identification and mitigation at program and portfolio levels
  • Familiarity with defense/space program requirements and ITAR-related constraints
  • Ability to operate with ambiguity and tight turnaround

Responsibilities

  • Establish and standardize program management tools, frameworks, and best practices across segment units and projects.
  • Provide governance and oversight to ensure alignment with strategic priorities, schedules, budgets and delivery standards.
  • Mentor and develop program managers and senior program leaders to build scalable, high-performance program teams.
  • Define and manage reporting rhythms for status, schedules and budgets on weekly, monthly and quarterly cadences.
  • Partner with General Managers and functional teams to align resources with program demand and mitigate execution risks.
  • Serve as the primary program management representative across the organization to align program efforts with long-term strategy.
  • Promote a results-oriented, customer-focused culture of accountability, continuous improvement and clear communication.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field required
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS) preferred
