Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end PCBA manufacturing processes to ensure quality and efficiency
- Perform and manage reflow soldering processes and coordinate hand-soldering where required
- Review PCB designs, components, pad layouts and pad positioning to improve manufacturability
- Implement and maintain solder mask standards to support reliable assembly
- Conduct FMEA to identify and mitigate process and product risks
- Apply lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to drive waste reduction and process improvements
- Implement single piece flow and visual management practices on the production floor
- Collaborate with design, quality, and production teams to integrate manufacturing considerations early
- Provide technical support, documentation, and training to production staff on PCBA and soldering techniques
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably mechanical) or equivalent experience
- Relevant certifications or continued education in manufacturing, IPC, or Six Sigma preferred
