We are looking for an experienced Strategic Product Portfolio Manager who will execute aspects of Visa Direct Product Strategy teams: supporting the portfolio, operations and delivery teams through the process to drive the strategic build of tooling and reporting ensuring efficiencies, transparency and the value delivery of our objectives.

Additionally, the role plays a key function in maturing the Product Strategy processes for Visa Direct by partnering with development resources, delivery and product operations.

The right candidate is a self-starter, ready to learn and experiment, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. The candidate possesses an incredible ability to collaborate well with others and drive projects forward.

This position requires working with teams that support product managers in Agile practices as well as traditional methodologies. This is NOT a product management role. This role supports and works directly with the Visa Direct product strategy organization as well as Visa’s central product operations to bring efficient processes and internal tooling to life.

This role will be responsible for

• Executing internal tooling strategy, reporting and analysis for Visa Direct’s Portfolio of Products in its quarterly and annual cadences, building and automating reporting and processes.

• Designing, developing, and maintaining custom applications and data visualization solutions to support our business needs.  This role will help to establish efficient PM standards, tools, and dashboard reporting.

• Design and configure workflows, permissions, and custom fields via Power Automate.

• Create and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights.

• Work with developers to Integrate with various data sources and other tools, including Confluence, SharePoint, Excel, and other databases.

• Coordinate with central product operations and ensure our tooling development is complementary, and quality standards are met.

• help transform processes and tooling to embed GenAI in order to drive efficiencies in the product development lifecycle.

This is a hybrid position out of our Foster City office. Expectation of days in office are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Basic Qualifications
•5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications
•6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
•Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Economics, or related field
•6+ years of experience in payments, fintech, or digital financial services.
•Superior analytical and problem-solving skills to synthesize and communicate complex information effectively.
•Excellent verbal and written communications skills, ability to quickly master new systems and/or processes, and the capacity to stay organized while managing competing priorities
•Strong technical experience with the Atlassian suite, particularly Jira.
•Proven experience in developing dashboards using Power BI.
•Strong understanding of data modeling, data analysis, and data visualization techniques.
•Proficiency in API for integrations and connection to Jira.
•Experience with integrating Power BI with other Microsoft 365 services and third-party applications.
•Knowledge of Power Automate for creating automated workflows.
•Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•Strong communication and collaboration skills.
•Excellent organizational skills, project status reporting
•Agile frameworks knowledge and experience.
•Tools that support Product Development lifecycle
•Ability to analyze large data sets, interpret ambiguous situations, and make recommendations.

•Atlassian Suite certifications
•Microsoft Power Platform certifications, including Power Automate, Power BI and Power Apps.
•Advanced-level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications, including SharePoint and Copilot Studio.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 146,200.00 to 211,850.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
