Visa is searching for a visionary Senior Director of Global Marketing Services to lead a massive transformation that embraces the power of Artificial Intelligence to drive operational excellence and enhance many of our tools, processes, and systems worldwide. Partnering in lockstep with teams across Digital Experiences & Capabilities (DXC), Technology, Legal, and more, this leader will ensure the successful design, deployment, adoption, measurement, and ongoing optimization of multiple AI tools, enabling the worldwide Marketing Services Team to work more efficiently and effectively than ever. Through these efforts, we will accelerate speed to market and help our team members maximize time spent servicing our clients.
This position will report directly into the Vice President, Global Marketing Services.
Key Responsibilities
AI Program Leadership and Management: Lead and manage all AI initiatives for Marketing Services, overseeing strategy, execution, milestone tracking, and performance measurement to ensure successful delivery and impact.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with DxC, Technology, Legal, and Regional & Local Marketing Services teams to ensure alignment, resource allocation, and successful delivery of capabilities.
Ambassador Enablement: Ensure Marketing Services AI Ambassadors are engaged, equipped, and empowered to pilot new capabilities, provide feedback, and champion adoption across the organization.
Change Management and Adoption: Drive the adoption of AI tools and new ways of working within Marketing Services, collaborating with DxC on communications and training, and ensuring Marketing Services-specific needs are addressed.
Reporting and Insights: Develop and deliver executive-level AI presentations, readouts, and recommendations to senior stakeholders, highlighting progress, impacts, risks, and opportunities.
Legal Collaboration: Work with Legal to ensure all AI initiatives comply with regulatory and company standards for a smooth rollout.
Process Re-engineering: serve as the voice of Marketing Services across enterprise-wide projects focused on simplifying tools, processes, and systems. Architect and implement short, mid, and long-term transformation plans within the world of Marketing Services.
Training and Communication: build and execute robust training and change management plans to support new tools, processes, and capabilities
Strategic Initiatives: partner to support new strategic initiatives as business needs arise.
Basic Qualifications:
- 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
• 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+ years of experience
• Demonstrated mastery and hands-on experience with a wide range of AI tools and platforms is essential. The ideal candidate is not only deeply familiar with current AI capabilities, but also proactively leverages these technologies to drive innovation, streamline operations, and deliver measurable business impact.
• Proven experience in payments, program management, and marketing technology.
• Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional programs with measurable business impact.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Executive-level communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
• Experience working in fast-paced, matrixed environments.
• Track record of driving change management and technology adoption.
• Experience collaborating with technology and digital teams on product development and deployment.
• Ability to operate in ambiguity (white space) and drive complex projects with stakeholders.

Acceptable Position Locations
Seeking a candidate who will be based in the Visa San Francisco Office in Mission Rock.
Given global nature of the role, flexibility to accommodate meetings across many time zones is required.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office three days per week, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 207,600.00 to 270,050.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
