Virginia Housing’s Communications Department is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Communications Intern to join our dynamic team. This important role will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a multifaceted Communications department that includes marketing, public relations, event planning, creative development and more. This position will assist with market research, social media monitoring, data analysis and other projects. This internship is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in pursuing a career in the communications field.

This is a paid internship that will run through June 30, 2026. We gladly accept undergraduate students, graduate students, trade school students, individuals exiting the military, military spouses, and career-transitioning professionals.
To be successful in this role:
This is a hybrid position reporting to our Richmond, VA office. Interns can work up to 20 hours per week. During the Summer months interns can work up to 40 hours per week.
