We're looking for exceptionally talented and passionate people to join our growing team.
About the Position
Vetcove is seeking a Veterinary PIMS Implementation Specialist with deep in-clinic experience and unmatched expertise in veterinary Practice Information Management Systems (PIMS). In this role, you’ll be the go-to expert on our platform, responsible for resolving the most complex implementation and clinical inquiries and ensuring that both clinics and internal teams are set up for success.
You’ll serve as the primary escalation point for the Implementation and Support teams, offer hands-on guidance for transitioning workflows from legacy systems, and own the creation of internal and client-facing documentation. Your role is both strategic and operational—you’ll shape how our platform is adopted and how implementation is scaled across the business.
Important: This role requires direct experience working in a veterinary clinic and working with multiple PIMS systems. Applications without this background will not be considered.
What You’ll Do
Act as the company-wide expert on Vetcove’s PIMS platform—handling complex clinical and technical questions that fall outside standard implementation and support
Provide specialized guidance on migrating legacy PIMS workflows to our platform, leveraging your experience with systems like AVImark, Cornerstone, Impromed, Pulse and more
Partner closely with the Implementation team to resolve escalated issues and diagnose nuanced onboarding or platform configuration challenges
Collaborate closely with Product, Strategy, and Engineering teams to identify platform gaps or process improvements based on hands-on clinic feedback
Train and mentor Implementation Managers on both our platform and broader PIMS best practices
Author and maintain detailed documentation, including internal playbooks and clinic-facing onboarding guides
Participate in high-touch client engagements to support complex or high-priority launches
Ensure technical concepts are translated into accessible resources and scalable implementation strategies
Keep implementation and support workflows aligned with evolving platform capabilities and clinic needs
You Should Have
Required: Hands-on experience working in a veterinary clinic (e.g., veterinary technician, practice manager, or administrative lead)
Required: Deep experience with multiple veterinary PIMS platforms, and an ability to translate legacy workflows into modern software environments
Strong background in software implementation or support, ideally in a healthcare or clinical setting
Proven track record of handling escalations and solving cross-functional implementation challenges
Exceptional written communication and documentation skills—able to produce guides, SOPs, and internal workflows that are clear and actionable
Experience training and mentoring others on complex systems or clinical software tools
Ability to balance hands-on technical work with strategic thinking and internal enablement
Highly organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple high-stakes projects at once
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, remote-first environment
Benefits (Full Time Roles)
100% remote within the USA
Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
Automatic 401k contribution
