Skills
- Proficient with Python and/or Golang for backend development
- Understanding of distributed systems concepts and concurrent programming
- Familiarity with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Experience or exposure to databases: Postgres, Redis, DynamoDB
- Working knowledge of messaging/logging tools like Kafka and SQS
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and ability to read server code
- Exposure to computer vision concepts is a plus
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable distributed systems to support hundreds of thousands of devices
- Develop and maintain microservices with a focus on low-latency and high-throughput
- Work with key-value stores (Redis, DynamoDB) and Postgres relational databases
- Integrate logging and messaging systems such as Kafka and SQS
- Deploy and manage services using Terraform and Kubernetes
- Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and remote device configuration systems
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, hardware, and CV teams; participate in agile development
Education
- BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical field
- University graduate (2026) or equivalent recent graduate
- Relevant internships or project experience demonstrating software development
