Skills
- 5+ years in software development with proven backend experience
- Designing and implementing SaaS or large-scale cloud services (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Proficiency in a modern systems language such as Go, Java, Scala, or Rust (Go preferred)
- Experience with event-driven architectures and building scalable, concurrent systems
- Strong testing, debugging, and automation practices for production systems
- Solid computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms)
Responsibilities
- Design and develop reliable, scalable SaaS microservices using Golang and cloud-managed services
- Write high-quality, secure, and thoroughly tested code with strong emphasis on automation
- Participate in on-call rotation and take ownership for service reliability and operational efficiency
- Contribute to technical design discussions, perform and receive code reviews, and provide engineering feedback
- Collaborate with a distributed, global engineering team to build, deploy, and support the VDC platform in production
- Integrate services with cloud providers and build event-driven, distributed systems
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
