Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and operate large-scale distributed backend systems and services
- Lead product development from ideation through prototyping, implementation, testing, and release
- Build backend features powering Pinner-facing experiences and support millions of users
- Partner with product, design, and other engineering teams to deliver end-to-end functionality
- Implement automated tests and ensure high technical quality and reliability of components
- Run and analyze A/B tests and iterate on product features
- Improve developer experience and operational processes across coding to deployment
- Work with engineering customers to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related quantitative discipline (or foreign equivalent)
- Or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

- Base salary range $195,000—$244,872 (US-based applicants only)
