Principal Solutions Engineer
Skills
- 7+ years in customer-facing technical roles (Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, TAM) in SaaS or cybersecurity
- Deep knowledge of email authentication technologies: DMARC, DKIM, SPF, DNS and phishing protection
- Proven experience running demos, POCs, and technical evaluations with enterprise customers
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Comfort collaborating with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Marketing teams
- Experience completing security questionnaires and supporting security compliance efforts
- Reside and work aligned to Central Time or Eastern Time within the US
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical resource for new logo, expansion, and renewal sales cycles
- Deliver tailored product demos, domain analyses, and technical deep-dives for prospective customers
- Conduct POCs and manage complex security evaluations with enterprise customers
- Collaborate with Account Management and Product to relay customer feedback and drive product improvements
- Create and maintain technical documentation for onboarding, education, and sales enablement
- Contribute to industry events, webinars, and public-facing thought leadership with Marketing and Advocacy
- Act as SME for DMARC, SPF, DKIM, DNS, and related email authentication technologies and threat trends
- Respond to security-related inquiries and complete security questionnaires; support security certification efforts (e.g., FedRAMP)
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related technical field, or equivalent experience
