To provide administrative and operational support to the Faculty Affairs and Academic Affairs teams in the McCombs Dean’s Office. This role is essential in maintaining records, supporting internal processes, coordinating logistics, and assisting with academic programming and faculty lifecycle events.
We’re seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented student worker who can manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision. Strong computer skills, proactive communication, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are key to success in this position.
Provide administrative support to the Faculty Affairs and Academic Affairs teams.
Manage confidential faculty records, databases, and shared files.
Prepare event materials, including agendas, nametags, signage, packets.
Assist with data collection, data entry, spreadsheet management, and document formatting.
Must be a University of Texas at Austin student, enrolled for at least 6 credit hours.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Ability to work independently, communicate clearly and professionally, and collaborate effectively with team members and other stakeholders.
Experience handling confidential or sensitive information with discretion
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and willingness to learn new systems and skills
Experience managing digital documents within SharePoint, UT Box, or other Microsoft applications
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Proactive, resourceful, and solution-oriented
Quick learner and a team player
$15 + depending on qualifications
Work performed in standard office conditions.
Up to 18 hours per week
Position ends on December 2025
Availability: Must be available during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)
Location: Work to be performed in-person, on campus at the McCombs School of Business
