The Impact You’ll Make:
As a Senior Brand and Campaign Marketing Manager, you’ll be a strategic and hands-on marketer responsible for driving full-funnel, integrated campaigns that move the business forward. You’ll develop data-backed marketing strategies that address key business challenges, lead execution across channels, and help establish a bold, culturally relevant brand presence for Upside.
You’ll work cross-functionally with Growth, Analytics, Creative, Finance, and external partners to shape and deliver campaigns that resonate with our users and achieve measurable results. What You’ll Do:
Drive Full-Funnel Marketing Campaigns: Own strategy, planning, and execution for high-impact brand and integrated campaigns, working across owned, earned, and paid channels.
Deliver Business Impact: Analyze business challenges and consumer data to develop campaigns that drive measurable growth, not just buzz.
Connect Brand to Culture: Bring Upside into culture by tapping into cultural moments, social media trends, and authentic influencer partnerships—especially those aligned with our key consumer interest pillars like sports, food, and local culture.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the connective tissue between Marketing, Analytics, Creative, Growth, and external agencies—ensuring every campaign has a clear brief, set shared goals, and flawless execution.
Segment and Local Strategy: Shape how we market to different DMAs, segments, and demographics, helping localize the brand without diluting it.
Be a steward of the Upside brand: Applying a discerning creative eye to ensure all campaign assets are fresh, compelling, and relevant to our audience while maintaining consistency and competitive differentiation.
Develop Scalable Processes: Improve our planning and implementation of campaigns, documenting processes that can be repeated and establishing benchmarks.
Competencies You Have:
6+ years of experience in brand, integrated, or consumer marketing with a focus on driving business outcomes.
Strong analytical approach with proficiency in reporting tools like Looker, Hex, and Google Analytics—adept at translating data into actionable insights.
Deep understanding of campaign strategy and execution across multiple channels including social, influencer, digital, CRM, and in-app.
Passion for culture, trends, brand moments and building authentic consumer connections.
Excellent communication and cross-functional project management skills.
Ability to work autonomously, navigate ambiguity, and thrive in a fast-paced, startup-style environment.
Bonus Points For:
Experience in segmentation or DMA-based marketing.
Prior experience working in fintech, mobile marketplaces, or B2C startups.
A track record of building marketing infrastructure and processes from the ground up.
Location:
This hybrid role is based in our NYC office. In-office attendance is required on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, and may increase based on project-based needs and changes to Upside’s in-office policy over time.
Compensation:
The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $131,000 - $160,000 + equity + benefits. The final starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
