Unit is a market leader in embedded finance. We offer ready-to-launch financial services - like banking and capital - and serve millions of end-users across ~100 customers, including Wix, Bill.com, Honeybook, Relay, and more.
We’re repeat founders with technical backgrounds, working hard to build a successful company that we’re proud to work at. Our product moves $40b+ annually and processes 12m+ API calls daily. We’ve raised $160m+ from top investors including Insight, Accel, and 60+ angels.
We’re hiring a General Manager, Capital to launch and scale one of Unit’s most important new businesses. Building on the success of Unit’s embedded banking product, we are expanding into lending—empowering our clients to offer capital products that deepen relationships with their end-users and unlock new revenue streams.

You will work closely with stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations, Capital Markets, Sales, and Customer Success to bring lending solutions to market responsibly and at scale.
This is an exciting opportunity to build and grow a transformative business line inside one of the fastest-growing companies in fintech infrastructure. You will report to the CFO.

Collaborate with Finance to understand unit economics, in addition to secure & optimize funding sources.
Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team.
Represent Unit externally with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
We are open to a variety of backgrounds, but we believe the best candidates will have some combination of the following:
8+ years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in fintech; lending experience strongly preferred.
A proven track record of launching and scaling new products or business lines.
Comfort operating at both the strategic and tactical level—able to set vision while rolling up your sleeves.
Strong leadership and team-building skills, with experience managing cross-functional initiatives.
Deep understanding of credit, capital markets, risk management, and regulatory frameworks.
Entrepreneurial mindset: resilient, proactive, and excited to thrive in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
