Senior BIM Coordinator
We’re looking for a Senior BIM (Building Information Modeling) Coordinator to lead coordination for large-scale mechanical
and plumbing projects. This role blends technical expertise with leadership — ensuring BIM
models meet high standards for accuracy, constructability, and compliance. You’ll guide a team of drafters and coordinators, manage project deliverables, and serve as a key liaison between design and field teams.
Key Responsibilities
● Lead BIM coordination efforts, represent the company in coordination meetings, and
uphold quality standards.
● Translate 2D drawings into advanced 3D BIM models for mechanical and plumbing
systems.
● Perform clash detection, quantity take-offs, scheduling analysis, and produce
documentation for fabrication and installation.
● Mentor and direct BIM Drafters, Spoolers, and Assistant Coordinators.
● Produce shop drawings, spooling documentation, and piping assembly plans.
● Maintain BIM libraries, drawing files, and enforce company standards.
● Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and design teams to meet
deadlines and project goals.
Qualifications
● Associate degree or equivalent technical training, with at least 1 year of relevant BIM
experience.
● Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks; plus tools like BlueBeam,
Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Word.
● Strong knowledge of MEP systems, construction sequencing, and installation practices.
● Solid math and spatial reasoning skills, including geometry and trigonometry.
● Excellent communication skills and experience leading coordination meetings.
● Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced project environment.
Compensation
● Salary Range: $70,000 – $85,000 annually, depending on experience and
qualifications.

● Primarily office-based with occasional field visits.
