JOB PURPOSE:

The student in this position will be primarily responsible for assisting the Sustainability Director and other relevant faculty, staff and students, in managing waste and waste diversion across campus.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The student in this position will be responsible for a number of activities related to waste management and diversion including: running the ReUse Room, managing education/outreach events, researching best practices, assisting with recycling monitoring, programmatic development and implementation.

SCHEDULE:

This schedule is somewhat flexible but the student in this position should expect to work ~5 hours/week. This position will include physical work (monitoring recycling and composting bins) and computer/web-based work.

RATE OF PAY:

$16.30/hour

    Eligibility to Work
    In order to comply with US Homeland Security Department regulations, all employees must complete an I-9 form in Workday prior to or no later than the first day of work and bring originals (no photocopies) of their supporting documentation to Human Resources no later than the 3rd business day of employment. Failure to have a completed I-9 form on file with the College will result in immediate termination of employment.
