As a Sr. Solutions Engineer, you’ll join our Launch team in being a trusted technical advisor to our merchants, partners and internal team members! If you love problem solving, collaborating with both people and code, and building creative solutions this role is for you. You’ll work closely with our Sales, Success, Partnerships and Product teams to support our merchants and partners throughout every stage of the Rebuy journey!
Please note that this is a very technical role and requires senior level engineering skills.
Support our Sales team during the pre-sale process by providing technical expertise, solution demonstrations, and architectural guidance.
Support our Sales and Merchant Success teams with the post-sale process, implementation, and strategic technical guidance.
Stand as a key technical resource for our top agency and tech partners in providing guidance, troubleshooting, and strategic solution support.
Own, maintain and continuously improve API & technical documentation to provide best in class guides and developer documentation.
Lead custom solution design and implementation efforts for enterprise merchants to guarantee technical feasibility and alignment with business goals.
Review, coach, and advise on technically challenging merchant launches with the Launch Engineering team, offering guidance on best practices, technical approach, and execution.
Enhance and develop technical implementation code to explore and validate solution approaches.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for custom workflows, templates, and integrations.
Who You Are

The Hard Skills:
Educational background in CS // Engineering
5+ years of experience in solutions architect, solutions engineering, implementation engineering or similar-type roles.
Strong knowledge of tech stacks such as (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and experience with Shopify or similar ecommerce platforms.
Comfortable with writing front-end implementation code and working with APIs (REST/GraphQL).
Experience in collaborating with GTM teams in the pre-sales and post-sales processes in a SaaS environment.
Experienced in gathering requirements, designing solutions and live building during sessions.
The Soft Skills:
Excellent communication skills especially being able to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
A collaborative mindset and work approach with the ability to lead projects and mentor others.
Passion for technology and a drive to help merchants solve problems creatively.
Comfortable and thrives in a fast-paced, remote work environment.

Now let’s get into who you’ll meet during our interview process! After you submit your application and it’s been reviewed by our team, we will reach out to you inviting you to meet with us. From there, you can expect an interview process similar to this:
Brief introduction call with James Van Erck, Cofounder & COO to learn more about you, your experience, and role requirements.
Coding challenge! You will be given a brief coding assignment that is fairly representative of the work required. We anticipate this taking about one hour or less to complete, and will allow you to showcase your technical skills.
Up next will be a panel interview with key GTM leaders to review your coding challenge, meet the executive team, and discuss your ability to work cross functionally.
Finally, a short final interview with our CEO and COO where you’ll get to learn more about Rebuy.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $110,000 - $140,000 USD annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter and hiring manager can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
