Front-End Engineer

Polyester is seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer to build beautiful, cutting-edge interfaces for our exchange and deliver experiences that are intuitive, lightning-fast, and a pleasure to use. Your focus will be on building performant, scalable, and polished front-end features that power the next generation of trading.

As part of the team, you will help imagine, develop, and ship innovative product experiences from start to finish. We believe in small, focused teams where every member has a meaningful impact.

What You’ll Do

• Build elegant, responsive UI components used by hundreds of thousands of users every day

• Take features from concept to production: prototype, implement, test, and ship them end-to-end

• Own and refine front-end architecture to keep things fast, maintainable, and scalable

• Collaborate closely with design, product, and growth teams to turn ideas into reality

• Rapidly iterate to improve engagement, performance, and overall product experience

• Maintain high standards for code quality through reviews and shared best practices

Your Background Looks Like

• Strong experience with modern front-end frameworks (React, Next.js, Vue, etc.) and a willingness to learn Svelte 5 (we use SvelteKit in production)

• Deep knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and responsive design best practices

• Proficient with TailwindCSS and component libraries (experience with shadcn-svelte or Bits-UI is a plus)

• Familiarity with Turborepo or other monorepo tools (nice-to-have)

• Experience with Bun, Vite, or other modern JS runtimes/build tools (nice-to-have)

• Bonus points for experience with Dockview, Klinechart, or D3 for building data visualizations and charts

• Passionate about performance, accessibility, and delivering polished user experiences

• Bonus points for previous Web3/Blockchain/Crypto experience
