Skills
- 1-3 years collections and/or customer service experience
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Proven de-escalation and negotiation skills
- Comfortable with high-volume phone interactions
- Proficiency with PC and common software; quick to learn new systems
- Strong time management, prioritization, and multitasking ability
- High attention to detail and accuracy
Responsibilities
- Monitor assigned customer accounts and follow up on payments via phone and email
- Research and resolve account discrepancies and disputes
- Negotiate payment arrangements and credit terms to manage risk and secure revenue
- Provide timely order approvals and support teammates as needed
- Maintain accurate customer records and log all communications in systems
- Identify opportunities for business building with assigned customers
- Comply with company policies and handle confidential information appropriately
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Post-secondary coursework or associate degree preferred but not required
