SENIOR RELATIONSHIP MANAGER-HEALTHCARE LENDING (REMOTE)
The Commercial Banking team actively calls on businesses that typically have annual revenue up to $500MM. The objective of the group is to earn the title of trusted advisor and help these companies grow and prosper in our communities. This is an opportunity to be an early stage, integral member of a healthcare team and platform with aggressive growth plans.
As the Sr. Relationship Manager-Healthcare Lending, you will be responsible for increasing the Bank’s profitability by cultivating new commercial relationships and the expansion/retention of existing relationships. In this role you must utilize your credit acumen and be knowledgeable in non-credit products such as treasury management, virtual card, trust, etc. Successful candidates for this role will be resilient, agile, accountable, driven and self-motivated with the ability to operate independently and autonomously. This is a hands-on, team driven, roll up your sleeves role. Specialists within individual healthcare sectors are welcome, as we are building a platform across multiple sub-sectors of healthcare.
How you’ll spend your time:
Build your own commercial loan portfolio by prospecting for new healthcare business with a focus on transaction sizes of $10MM to $50MM and up.
Lead underwriting workstreams for healthcare loans, including assistance with building financial models; assessing reimbursement and regulatory risk, coverage metrics, sponsor capability, and overall bank fit.
Engage and lead other team members to determine what other products and services the client might benefit from.
Collaborate with commercial clients to better understand their business and financial needs.
Analyze the business to qualify clients for bank products and services.
Opportunities to mentor less experienced Commercial Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers as the team grows.
We’re excited to talk to you if have:
A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education & experience.
8-10+ years of experience in commercial lending, including 5+ years of experience in healthcare banking/lending, including success in a sales role.
Knowledge of and experience with one or more of the following: healthcare real estate, cash flow/leveraged lending to healthcare operators, and healthcare asset-based lending.
Knowledge of credit, bank products, services, underwriting, bank operations and healthcare industry drivers & related regulatory/reimbursement environments.
A curiosity about how healthcare companies work and what helps them remain successful in their respective industries.
Excitement about providing a meaningful impact to an early-stage platform.
Compensation Range:
$110,250.00 - $235,810.00The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB’s standard for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors.
