Digital Marketing Strategist

About the Role: 

U-Haul is seeking a Digital Marketing Strategist with a focus on content marketing. In this role, you will plan, manage, and execute content strategies that support business objectives and improve the customer experience.  

This role is responsible for managing content calendars, writing and editing content, and supporting marketing strategies across uhaul.com and related domains. You will work closely with creative teams and internal stakeholders to ensure content is clear, effective, and aligned with company goals.  

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Write, edit, and optimize content for U-Haul websites, blogs, CRM campaigns, and social media. 

  • Create engaging customer-focused content for in-store signage. 

  • Manage and maintain internal content calendars. 

  • Collaborate with internal teams to translate complex company information into engaging and customer-friendly content. 

  • Upload, publish, and edit articles across multiple content management systems (primarily WordPress). 

  • Contribute to the development and execution of content marketing strategies. 

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing, content writing, or a related field (retail experience preferred). 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Familiarity with SEO best practices preferred. 

  • Basic HTML knowledge preferred. 

  • Experience working with CMS platforms; WordPress strongly preferred. 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively across teams.
