Summary of Job Duties:

Autism Peer mentors meet with students enrolled in the Autism Support Program to provide assistance in social skills and navigating the university campus.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Minimum Qualifications:

•  Current and continuing University of Arkansas undergraduate students

•  Demonstrate excellent social skills

 

 Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Excellent communication skills

• Skilled in-person meetings

• Ability to provide positive and constructive feedback

• Able and interest to work with students who have autism
