Job Description

Summary

The Operations Platforms Management team is seeking a Portfolio Manager that will help to enable consistent ways of working and enhance overall Platforms productivity. This individual contributor will be responsible for identifying opportunities for improvement across intake practices, roadmap discipline, backlog management, outcome measurement, data / reporting and other ways of working within the group. The role will include helping to implement common tools, experiences, and stakeholder communications in partnership with the various leaders within Operations Platform Management.

This individual will need to be comfortable interacting with leaders at all levels of the organization, including Managing Committee level communications. Understanding of software development lifecycles, Agile, and experience in data manipulation will be highly valuable in this role. This individual will need to be skilled at understanding the strategic goals of the team while being well versed in the day-to-day work needed to establish and maintain synchronized ways of working.

Job Description

· Develop consistent practices and new / innovative ways of working to enhance productivity

· Champion digital collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft 365, Jira, Dragonboat, Confluence)

· Measure team throughput and effectiveness by developing balanced scorecards

· Create platform level outcomes to ensure work achieves Operations’ priorities

· Develop consistent portfolio and team-level reporting to increase visibility and transparency

· Promote agile methodologies and Product Management principles in platform-related projects

· Build trusted relationships with executives, senior leaders, and key business partners

· Participate in the identification, design, development and implementation of assigned projects as necessary

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there’s an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

Basic Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

· 10 or more years of experience in product management activities

Preferred Skills/Experience

· Comprehensive knowledge of assigned business lines or functional areas

· Exceptional strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills

· Advanced knowledge of product management

· Demonstrated management and leadership skills

· Positive, consultative approach to clients and team members

· Excellent verbal and written communication skill

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $119,765.00 - $140,900.00
